F is playin the bass in a punkband now called Innvortis . I have seen them live a couple of times and they are excellent. Last night they were playing downtown at an antichristmas punk/metal show with 6 other bands. I took the kids to see them,since it was an early night thing and no drinking kind of place. Una and Hörður got a kick out of seeing their dad on stage but insisted on leaving right after, it was all a bit to loud. (Must remember ear plugs the next time) Úlfur stayed behind with F to see a couple of other bands.
Me and the kids will spend christmas eve at my older older sisters place with her and her son and her daughter. She has a 2 month old baby girl (named Isabel), so my sister is a granny now.. its nice, im looking forward to become a granny myself actually.

I went to se Coldplay and Ash in concert, Ash are fine but Coldplay are a bit to mellow for me. I went with my brother and Ulfur went with his friend, he likes Coldplay a lot, all in all Úlfur is very busy with music these days. He makes music on the computer with a program called Fruityloops and now he is a band as well. Only problem is the drummer doesn´t have a drum kit and they dont have a place to practice! But Úlfur has an electric guitar and an amplifier in his room and is driving me crazy with his constant playing. Nick Cave had 2 concerts in Reykjavík a couple of weeks ago but I could not afford to go, (to Coldplay I got in free) My friend G she went to both Nick Cave concerts and had knitted him a black wool sweater with his name on the arms. Nobody was allowed to go talk to mr. Cave and he did no interviews but G ..she did not give up, she called relentlessly and insisted on seeing him to give him the sweater in person until the icelandic guy handling the whle thing gave up. So she got to go back stage and meet Nick Cave and well.. I think she is still high from the experience, she has idolized him for years.

Box number 5 still not here. oh well, it will show up. I took an exam and am not very confident in the outcome. And it makes sense couse this fall semester I did not do the work in scool at all for most of the time. I guess I had some sort of breakdown when F moved to Iceland, a lot of turmoil and anguish for both of us on different levels. Right now we are doing fine though, we are in a lot of contact and it remains to be seen if that can continue, but we would really like to be the first divorced couple in history to remain friends hmmm..
